To Love a Dragon

I worked pretty hard on this and I think that it shows.  I did a lot of anatomy sketches and tweaking.  What can I do to make it better?
Oh and I used this lovely piece of art as a Base to start from.
I used This wonderful tutorial in order to help me out with the wings.
I will be having a girl standing within the wings either kissing the forehead of the dragon or possible just gently touching it.  Though I am leaning her kissing it, because the drawing is for a young girl who LOVES dragons!  Having been that little girl who loved dragons, fairies, mermaids, and other beasts of the imagination, I would have loved to get a picture of a princess (with a likeness to myself) showing a moment of tender care with a favourite creature.
BUT I was creepy and Dragons were just not real and I had to get my head out of the clouds........ This got revealing and deep.....
